Raul J Flores a board certified cardiologist with a specialization in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. He currently practices at Morristown Medical Center and New York University Medical center. He received his MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed his internal medicine training at Columbia University Medical Center. He served as an attending hospitalist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center prior to pursuing a fellowship in cardiology at Morristown Medical center, and subsequently, a subspecialty fellowship in advanced heart failure and transplantation at New York University Medical Center. He joined the Heart Success program at Morristown Medical center in 2023 as an advanced heart failure physician. He deals with patients with a broad range of cardiac ailments from chronic cardiomyopathies to acute cardiogenic shock, as well as patients with heart transplants and mechanical circulatory support. He is fluent in Spanish and well versed in issues affecting LGBTQ+ populations.
